Manoa Valley Church is now registered with the Foodland/Sack N Save “give aloha” program.   

During the month of September, Foodland/Sack N Save will match dollar-for-dollar a percentage of all donations given to Manoa Valley Church through the “give aloha” program, for donations of up to $249 per person for the month. That means you can give up to $249 of your Capital Campaign Pledge, and the church will receive your donation of $249 plus a matching donation of 27% from the “give aloha” program. So your donation of $249 will grow by $67 for a total of $316! It is good stewardship on your part, and “free money” for the church.

Here’s how it works:

Between September 1 and September 30, go to your nearest Foodland/Sack N Save Store. Bring along your Maika`i Card, or register for a card at Customer Service. Each family member making a donation will need to have their own card. At the Check-Out line or Customer Service Counter, tell the cashier you want to make a donation to Manoa Valley Church. You may also add your donation onto your store purchases. Our designated number is: 78558. You can use your debit/credit card or write a check to Foodland/Sack N Save for any amount up to $249. Foodland/Sack N Save will credit the donation to Manoa Valley Church, and by the end of October, a check will be sent to our church for that amount plus the matching amount. You will receive a cash register receipt which you should save. Ask the cashier for a duplicate copy of the cash register receipt. Write your name on the duplicate copy and place it in the offering plate on Sunday morning. Your donation (not including the matching amount) will then be credited to your end-of-year statement for tax purposes.
